Eye (lens) dosimeter

• For Radiation personals/workers eye annual equivalent dose limit value is 20 mSv.
• In case there is no suffecient protection, cataract disease may cur at full stretch radiation personals/workers. Equivalent eye(lens) dose measurement is most important for interventional radiolgy personals/workers.
• One of the most sensitive element MCP-N (LiF: Mg, Cu, P) is prefered at eye(lens) dose measurement.
• The EYE-D ™ dosemeter was developed, optimized and tested within the ORAMED (Optimization of RAdiation protection for MEDical staff) project funded by EU-EURATOM within the 7th Framework Programme .
